Level 2 Award in Safe Moving and Handling

The Level 2 Award in Safe Moving and Handling course will benefit anyone who is involved in moving and handling tasks and activities in the workplace. It  will introduce them to the hazards of manual handling, the risks involved and the control measures available to help prevent injury. During the course  learners will be able to carefully analyze their own work activities and environment and then be able to help develop safer working practices and working environment in cooperation with their supervisors and managers.

This qualification is not intended to train candidates to carry out manual handling risk assessments, but it will help them to understand and contribute to the development of such assessments.
